Today was a good day overall. The heat seemed a little extreme. However, later when I checked the weather conditions for this date on www.wunderground.com supposedly the high was only 83. I am starting to get sunburnt quite a bit despite applying plenty of sunblock every day. I bought some more sunblock in a small bottle today. It was actually called "Zinke" (I think that's what the bottle said). It was supposed to be SPF 30. I am still paranoid about not having any spare tubes. I looked up a bike shop in the phone book here. I rode around for quite a while trying to find it but could not. This is a nice town with a river dividing it. My motel room was a little disappointing. Around 11 PM I had this large group of partiers who must have either been right outside my door or next door to me. They were being very loud and obnoxious. They were playing all kinds of music really loud. I think some of it was Bob Seger music....some song about how it's good to be alone out in the wilderness. Later they were singing to "Photograph" by Nickelback. Then there was this annoying dog they had who wouldn't shut up! Don't get me wrong, today was fun, but the night and early morning were very frustrating as I did not get much sleep.

My motel room in Moruya.....the room was only $50 but had no air conditioning and I couldn't get the TV to turn on. This was the first motel on the right side of the road coming into town from the north.
