Nutrition can be creatively combined into reading, story telling, puppet plays, flannel board activities, cooking, and much much more. NDC supplies a variety of activities to capture children’s interest and help them learn to eat well. Below is just a sampling of materials available through NDC.

The Two Bite Club
NDC providers can receive a complimentary copy of The Two Bite Club book by emailing our office or contacting the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). Developed by FNS, this beautifully illustrated book is perfect for preschoolers to learn about the food groups and trying new foods. In the back of the book are coloring and activity sheets. Dine-0-Mite Delights
NDC’s Dine-O-Mite Delights are high on the list of favorites for day care activities. These child friendly story and activity packets cleverly feature dinosaur characters to teach kids all about eating well, good table manners, trying new foods, family style dining, ethnic foods, and food safety. Complimentary copies of our Dine-O-Mite Delights are available to providers enrolled in the food program through NDC.

for Children
A popular request from NDC child care providers is our seasonal coloring and activity sheets. Child care providers look forward to receiving these fun filled activity sheets at each child care visit. Dakota Dog Digs Food, Fitness and Fun!
Child care providers really dig this preschool curriculum that contains year round food and movement activities. The curriculum has received raving reviews from our child care providers and is a valuable addition to child care activities. A complimentary copy is provided to all NDC providers.

2011 Calendar and Record Keeping System
Roll out the red carpet for "That's Menu-tainment", a calendar and record keeping system for 2011. NDC providers will receive a complimentary copy of this valuable nutrition production. The Sponsor's Association has produced this calendar and it
features a showcase of events including:

• wholesome CACFP approved recipes
• tantalizing nutrition information and entertaining physical activities
• a first rate business tool including CACFP and tax reminders
• attendance and payment record sheets along with expense and income charts
  

Books Galore and More
NDC’s lending library may have just the book or resource you need. Filled with children’s stories, cookbooks, and resources galore, NDC providers can request to use the materials at no charge. The lending library also has Color Me Healthy curriculums, an award winning preschool curriculum that provides interactive learning activities on physical activity and healthy eating.
