    Comments: I left earlier today about 10 AM. I headed east on Highway 15. The 24 miles to Highway 281 went okay as the winds weren't too bad. As I headed south on Highway 281, the wind was perfect and I averaged near 20 MPH for the first several miles. However, the winds lessened and once I left Pingree, the shoulder disappeared, so I was slowed by traveling on the gravel every time traffic passed. I finally made it to Jamestown and got a late lunch at Hardee's. Next, I found the interstate and traveled 33 miles to Valley City. As soon as I reached the beginning of town, I got a flat back tire. I rode for a couple of miles to my hotel on the flat. I hope I fixed it successfully. I guess I'll know tomorrow.
