Remarks
Today I left around seven in the morning. It looked like it could rain when I looked out the window before I left, but luckily it didn't today. The temperature actually reached the mid 80s today. I can't even remember the last time I got to bike in such warm weather. The ride started off fine for about the first 60 miles when the shoulder on US 601 disappeared so I had to constantly be pulling over for traffic. I had the rudest incident in my life from a motorist today. I think they tried to grab me or push me first as they passed me and then somebody yelled, "F*** you, man, blah, blah, blah." This happened between Kershaw and Camden, SC. I really don't know what they had to be so upset about as I moved over as far as possible and there was nobody in the other lane so they could have easily passed me. Amazingly enough I didn't let this bother me too much. Originally I planned to stay in Camden, but ended up staying in Lugoff, just a little past Camden. On another note, I saw yet another lower siting for gas prices...this time it was at Kershaw at $1.449. Tonight, I'm staying at a Holiday Inn for the second night in a row.
