DVCC SAFE HOME


The safe home provides emergency assistance to individuals and families escaping domestic violence/sexual assault.

It offers the following:

  • For victims of domestic violence and sexual assault who are leaving an abusive realtionship (physical, emotional or verbal abuse).
  • Children may accompany their parent to the safe home.
  • 18 beds can be utilized for a maximum of 30 days each
  • Assistance with protection orders
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Emergency food and clothing
  • Information and referral services
  • Children's program
  • Support Groups for women and children
  • Separate shelter facilities will be utilized for male victims and their children
  • Safe home residents may apply for the DVCC Transitional Housing Program

  • DVCC TRANSITIONAL LIVING


    Transitional Housing provides temporary housing to women and their children who find
    themselves homeless as a result of domestic violence.

    It offers the following:

  • 8 secure apartments for up to 18 months of stay
  • Assistance with protection orders
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Emergency food and clothing
  • Information and referral services
  • Children's program
  • Support Groups for women and children
  • Residents monthly rent is based on a percentage of the family's gross monthly income
