The safe home provides emergency assistance to individuals and families escaping domestic violence/sexual assault.

Transitional Housing provides temporary housing to women and their children who find themselves homeless as a result of domestic violence.

Offers the following:

· For victims of domestic violence and sexual assault who are leaving an abusive relationship (physical, emotional or verbal abuse).

· Children may accompany their parent to the safe home.

· 18 beds can be utilized for a maximum of 30 days each

· Assistance with protection orders

· Crisis Counseling

· Emergency food and clothing

· Information and referral services

· Children's program

· Support Groups for women and children

· Separate shelter facilities will be utilized for male victims and their children

· Safe home residents may apply for the DVCC Transitional Housing Program

· 8 secure apartments for up to 18 months of stay

· Assistance with protection orders

· Crisis Counseling

· Emergency food and clothing

· Information and referral services

· Children's program

· Support Groups for women and children

· Residents monthly rent is based on a percentage of the family's gross monthly income
