Remarks Today was actually a pretty good day. I saw the sun for a consistant basis for the first time in a week. The temperature was over 70 for the first time in a week as well. The only thing that was really a pain today was quite often I had no shoulder to ride on so I always had to constantly be looking for traffic. Once I got on US Highway 23, I had a really nice shoulder to ride on. I don't understand why they don't allow you to ride on many of the bigger highways in many of the states. It always seems like these highways are the safest. I would much rather be on a high volume traffic road with an eight foot shoulder than a lower traffic road with no shoulder. The winds were always mainly beneficial today as well. I just have to start remembering to wear sunscreen again. Right before I got to Waverly somebody yelled at me, "Why don't you get a car." It's times like this you just have to learn to ignore people and not let things get to you.
